xscsiqueue

SYNOPSIS

       /bin/xscsiqueue [-d] [-e queue-depth] device

DESCRIPTION

xscsiqueue may be used to enable queueing, disable queueing, or find
the current state of queueing on a disk drive with an SGI/Irix volume
       layout.

With no options, the current status of queueing on the drive is dis-
played. If queueing is enabled, the queue depth is also displayed.

-d Disable queueing on the disk.

-e depth Enable queueing on the disk to the specified queue depth.

FILES

/dev/xscsi/.../rdisc - the SGI xscsi raw disk driver device
/dev/xscsi/.../disc - the SGI xscsi block disk driver device

SEE ALSO

       fdisk(8)

NOTE

This command is normally usable only by the superuser, because the
standard permissions of the devices in /dev/xscsi restrict access to
       other users.

                                                                 xscsiqueue(8)
