(document number: 007-3622-003  /  published: 1999-06-17)   additional info | download

Video Server Toolkit (VST) is the SGI broadcast- quality video playback, edit, and record engine. This manual describes how to set up the system hardware and filesystems, install and configure VST, configure for redundancy (such as IRIS FailSafe 1.2), and configure and use external and other devices. It also explains how to run VST and how to trouble- shoot problems, and includes a summary of VST man page infor- mation.
